Then the first step -- before anything else including pricing -- is determining my availability. "Are you available on the date of my event?" is always the first question to ask... period. If I'm already booked or otherwise unavailable, everything else -- including what I charge -- is immaterial.
In the wedding/special event biz, Saturdays are the most coveted dates on the calendar and almost always book first. My remaining open Saturdays now through the end of 2025 include...

A great selection of Friday and Sunday dates remain for Spring, Summer, and Fall 2025 dates as well, and come at an attractive discount compared to Saturdays!
2026 Fall Saturday dates (late August through late November) are "on-hold" pending release of the 2026 West Virginia University Football Schedule, which is typically announced anytime from mid-October 2025 to early February 2026). As longtime WVU Football season ticket holders, my wife Stacie and I have a "Gold n' Blue Wedding Rule"... NEVER get married or hold a special event on a WVU Home Football Saturday! 😉
